What can we do this weekend?

2013 Toronto Blue Jays Instructional Clinic

Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) at George Taylor Field (formerly Community Park)

Updated Tuesday June 4, 2013 by St. Catharines Minor Baseball.
What better way to celebrate Father's Day than spending some time at the ball park!?!
On Sunday, June 16th, from 9am till 1pm, SCMBA will play host to a Blue Jays Instructional Clinic for players aged 8-14. The event will take place at George Taylor Field (formerly Community Park) in Merritton. If you're not familiar with the ball park, it is located on Seymour Ave, right behind Pinehurst School (former Merritton High School).
SCMBA hosted this clinic last year & the players found it very rewarding. The instructors are very knowledgeable, and they present the information in a way that is both fun & easy to understand. Boys & Girls are both encouraged to attend. While drills are typically done with baseballs, the instruction is applicable to both hardball & softball players.
Former Blue Jay, Jessie Barfield will be in attendance, teaching the kids and providing instruction throughout the day.
Participants must register through the Toronto Blue Jays by clicking on the link below. Cost of the clinic is $40.

Come spend a wonderful Father's Day with SCMBA & the Toronto Blue Jays at the ball park!!

Representatives from our Pee Wee All Star Team will be at the Clinic selling pizza, chips and pop to raise money for a trip to Cooperstown in 2014.
